hello guy's, i need some help--i have owned 2 67 camaro's and both
would bottom out and rub the tire's--i never had this problem on my
68 or 69 camaro.

i have a 10 bolt rear end in the 67 camaro--the car does great with
only me in it, but if i take the family out in it, it sound's like the back
tire's rub a little up in the housing's--i can have i pass in the car and
the sound come's from the pass side,

i have 245-60-15 tire's on the back---i want to keep the same tire set-up.

have any of you had this problem, it so can you tell me how to fix it,
i don't want to install air shock's--i like the way the camaro set's now.

thank you,
tim

67 had single leaf springs 8's and 6's i think. the 68's had multi for all v8's they went to the multi leafs, you can figure for a reason, mostly wheel hop but prob weight and clearance same solution. if single, change to multi to beef up. see sets for 50.00 to 100.00 lots of times on our classifieds. got to do the same to mine when the time comes. if not single leaf, you can get a lot of shocks to fix it. good luck.

My '68 327 came with single leaf springs and never bottoms out. I imagine your springs are just old and tired. They sag after a while. They can be replaced or re-ached.
