Hi, New guy on the scene and I enjoy what i see. I can sure use help in restoring my 68 camaro for the second time. I got a newly rebuilt 396 BB that is dyno at 425Hp and 450lbs torque; am running a turbo 400 and need some advice on rear gears. I am installing a Ford 9" with a Hotchins sport supension. I want it to be a daliy driver and something to have fun at stop lights from time to time so, I have been told 3.73 gear would be good, and commits or better ideals I would appreciate it.

Joe,Welcome to Team Camaro. I've got 3.90 gears in my 9" with 33" tall tires and have no problems "havin' fun at stop lights":D. Those 3.73's should be fine.

3.73's here an 3000 rpm @ 65 mph (something to keep in mind) and fun :D
