Reason being is i plan to dual stage next year, but i have learned from NOS that i it's not recommended to spray over 150 on the dual plane.AAARRGGHH. So now i have to either plumb in some fogger nozzles or try a single plane. I know the single plane will be easier, i'm just worried as to how much low end driveability i will lose ? I can give up some though.

So the plan is 100 out the hole then 150-200 more ...probably at the 100 FT mark. Any suggestions ?

BTW, i'm still driving it to work...looks good going down the road with the snow out

If you are going to spray 100HP out of the hole why are you worried about low end? You will gain way more than you will lose by switching to a single plane and spraying, than you will with a dual plain. Are you spraying out of the hole on the dual plane? You should make up anything you lose (which I don;t think will be much if any) on the top end.

I agree with Royce you will lose very little low end.And will definatly make up for it on the other end with the spray.

A 300 shot on your daily driver!

You are a brave man. :D

The single plane won't hurt drivabiliy too much I don't think. I know on a 3.75 stroke moter you can hardly tell any difference.

I'm sure it'll be fine, Mike. Years ago, I ran a turantula on a street 406, mostly with 3:73 & 4:11 gears, but for a good while with 3:08's, too. That intake didn't hurt lowend at all, or at least if there was more to be had, the tires couldn't hold it anyway.

Thanks guys.

I do spray the dual plane with a 100 shot right out the hole. My concern was when driving around without the spay on, you know daily commute to work. The motor has IMO wayy to much bottom end right now with the small cam.

I drive the car 99% of the time, but have 2K Taurus that mostly sits because i drive my car so much. If it breaks though i can just drive the T.

The D-36 will stay till it actually breaks, then i'll just put a straigh axle in the car and be done with rear ends for the life of the car. I don't see it breaking with the dual stage though, time will tell.

that's good to know JIM. Although the 3.07 gear and 26" tall tire sounds bad, it's actually equall to a 373 with a 28" tall tire, 100 rpm difference.

Know anyone wanting a performer RPM that's 3 mo. old ? Send them my way. $100 or trade for an unported vic jr #2975

Thanks again guys
Mike
