We are new to the site, but love camaros........live on the east coast, right on the Chesapeake Bay. Lots of water sports and hunting options.
In 1972, my husband and I were forced to sell his 1969 camaro due to the birth of a son and the inability to afford keeping the camaro. The camaro was traded at "TriChevrolet" in Federalsburg, Maryland. He had purchased at Hollowells in Easton, Maryland (now Bob Smith's). The car was custom ordered, dark green in color. The car was a SS with RS features - hide-away headlights, etc. It was a 4 speed, 350 engine with white interior. We have been trying to see if we can locate the history, or where abouts and would love to see it if it is still around. I have a VIN number (12437N533769) but don't have a method of tracing the number since most websites will start at 1981. We owned another camaro, 1996, but it really wasn't like that "first 69". Any thoughts of how to trace the car? Thanks much for any help.
