The North Texas Camaro Club cruise to the Galaxie Drive-in theater will be on Saturday October 11.
To accomodate those who may travel from different directions, the meeting point will be the Shell gas station at the intersection of I-45 South and Beltline Road in Wilmer. Going South from Dallas on I-45, take exit 270, and the Shell station is at the light. This is the same meeting point as the Centerville trip was earlier this year. We will be leaving the meeting point at 6:15 p.m. for the short drive to the theater in Garrett. The start time for the first movie is 8:00 p.m., so we should get there early enough to park together and visit before the show.
The admission price is $6 per adult, $2 for children 5 - 11, free for kids under 5. The box office takes credit cards but the snack bar does not at this time. There are speakers to hang in your window, just like 'back in the day', or else you can tune in on your FM receiver. Some may choose to sit outside of the car in lawn chairs.

There are 4 screens, and the features change weekly. I'll post again next monday to get a vote on which movie(s) you decide on. I hope you can make it!
