Hey everybody! I've been lurking here for a while and figured it was about time I signed up. I have a couple of projects in the back of the garage and I'm thinking it's time to do something with them. I have a '67 convertible with the 250ci six and '69 RS/SS 396 (375 hp). Both need alot of love and attention, but they will be restored to original. I'll be looking for alot of information, so I'll be a regular visitor for a while.

Thanks in advance,
Drew

Thanks for the warm welcome... Joe, I'm in Lake George, about an hour north of Albany. I have a small restoration shop and I'm always working on someone else's project. I figured it was about time I work on my own, so I've set aside a slot this winter to begin on the '67 conv. I'll post progress as the project continues.

My family and I have been to Lake George a number of times (We used to live in Westchester County NY). I was there one year when they had thier annual carshow (first week in September). Very cool event, especially watching the cars cruise along the main drag. I have even took a ride on their tour boat on Lake Champlain. Very expensive property along that lakeshore for sure. I have a buddy who lives just outside of Plattsburgh and they have a cottage on Piseco Lake. I did some snowmobiling with him in the Adirondacks in 2003.

Another hand cross the border to welcome you aboard the TC ship.

Two projects? Pick your battles, eh? Two good choices to restore!

Lake George is beautiful, but yeah, this lake shore prices are astonomical. I'm about 4 miles from the lake, close enough. The Adirondack Nationals show is the second weekend in September and it just gets bigger and bigger. This year the weather cooperated (for the most part) and there were alot of great rides.
Lately we've been working on some early projects, 1930 Marquette, '37 Studebaker, '53 MG TD, so I'm really looking forward to working on a project that is a little more modern (NO WOOD!). Keep you all posted...
