I was compairing some time slips last night and i noticed a hugh drop in mph and can't understand why? The only changes made were the instilation of a set of 355 gears and 2 differn't locations. I can only compair 1/8 mile mph because they do not have a 1/4 anywhere near me in fl. THe mph was 82.69 for the 1/8 at the track in michigan and last sat night here in fl it was 78.26 mph. I have made at least 30 passes here in fl and never made that kind of mph. Could it be the humidity? 4.4mph is a big differnce and alot of hp to be givving up. The car seems to be pulling hard all the way down the track.any help you could offer will be appericated

As you know weather makes a big differance.
Take notice of some of the racers from up north... say like Mich. for example, historically they run their best #`s either in the spring time or in the fall, for the most part.
Now that you race in FLA. you need to tune accordingly. Hot humid weather in Fla. can`t be fairly compared to cool up north conditions with the same tune-up.
A 4.4 MPH lose isn`t unheard of due to conditions, so don`t worry too much about it cooler temps are coming http://www.camaros.net/forum/smile.gif
