Sorry for the non camaro post, but i thought this was so kewl i had to share it with you guys.

Yesterday i was running around with my wife doing some small errands. I was pulling out of the gas station and to my surprise this gold colored chevy II looking car went by then pulled into the parts store next to the gas stations.
I instantly popped up in my seat and sait "holy s*&t thats an acadian" My wife said, " a what". I gave her a brief history of the car as i zoomed over to the parts store to get a better look.

When i the owner came out i spoke to him a bit and asked him if he was from canada. He gave me a grin and said "wow you know your cars huh".
He commented that he lived in the states but had bought the car from a 80 yr old gentleman from Toronto 2 years ago with only 25k miles on it.

The body on the car was mint. He just had it painted. It was a small block 4 speed with radio delete. The car sounded great. I thought it was such a treat to get to see such a rare car. I know there are others in the states, but i have never seen one in my life. I guess i was just proud of myself having recognized it.

If you like Pontiac Acadians, here is a good story in a past issue of Hot Rod magazine about an Acadian street legal race car and the very unique race that it participates in.
