Okay so while the car was off at paint, it seems that the keys have disappeared so I need to rekey the car. The other locks weren't in yet so they are no big deal but I know to remove the ignition lock cylinder you need the key and a paperclip to shove through the hole in the lock cylinder but without the key, what options are there? The bezel won't unscrew without the cylinder out so ???
Thanks for any info...

Unplug the switch and plug in teo jumpers, one for ign, one for starter.
Ign key lock glove box? I don't remember, but if it does, remove the glovebox lock and give to locksmith to make a key from the code.
Or hire the locksmith to undo the ign tumbler and have them make a key from the code.

Oh - can a locksmith create a key from the lock?

Yes, he has to pull out the tumbler to get the key code to make the key.

Maybe a good time to cut a copy and put them in your cuff link box in your sock drawer?
