Cracked my windshield taking off my window trim. Man I hate fighting the trim. Any good ideas for removing trim so a I don't do it again?:mad:

get the proper $2 tool and practice using it on cars in the local junkyard?

Don't feel to bad. I did the same thing to a new windshield. YES, I had the proper tool. Little did I know the bodyshop that installed tha glass had to much butyl in the seam and the trim stuck to the butyl. I had a pro install new glass and he found the sticky problem. One thing, I would not lose the trim in the wind.
