I have a couple of quadrajet carbs that I need to decode. One is a Carter Quadrajet and from what I understand Carter Q-jet were only made in the 60's but when I looked at the numbers I came up with a 79 carb so I must be doing something wrong. Thanks for the help.

The Carter Q-jet numbers are 17059216

The Rochester Q-jet numbers are 7045183 k4

The 7045183 is a 1975-76 Olds q-jet but I didn't get a hit on the other..

7045183= 75-76 Olds ,350 auto trans air conditioned.
