When did the 8K 69Z tachs become available? What is the earliest build dates? I keep hearing early vs. late build Z28/s....is there a certain build cycle in the production that better defines the split between early / late builds>?

02C Van Nuys Z, 8K looks to be original

My 02B Z/28 of many years ago had the 8k but I have seen others built around the same time with 7k tachs.

And don't forget the other 8k tach; 6500 redline. Very rare, late Oct 69 production.
