This was at the OC Maryland show and it was phenomenal it was Best in Show. The owner Paul was a very down to earth guy and very nice to talk to,most people who have a car this nice don't want to give you the time of day.The car looked and sounded great I parked next to him and I got some of the bleed off people looking at my car.Hers some pics....

George,

Has your buddy drove the car to see if he likes the rear tires. I have a set on my car and they dont stick worth a darn. If he is making a cruiser then he will be happy. If he wants traction then he wont like the back tires.

I agree why degrade a Camaro with a Mopar power plant, Its nice but needs a BBC.

No he hasnt driven since he installed the new tires he had sportsmans like mine before but hes building a show car/cruiser not a track car so hes probably good! Hows those new Hoosier radials hook up they look like a nice tire aswell?

What are they, the SR's?

I'm torn between the Hoosier Prostreets and the MT SR's. I've got the Hoosiers on a 502 Vette with a 4:56 and they seem to hook pretty good for a street tire.

Since those rumors have begun I've been kidding a freind of mine about buying a new style Hemi crate engine for his 'Vette. Agreed BBC would be better although you gotta love a Hemi.

Yep...Arias headed Rat would have put the car over the top for sure..not like it is any thing less than spectacular with the elephant engine.

I was parked next to him at the Good Guys show at Pocono a few weeks ago. His car actually helped bring attention to mine, sort of original and very not original or a hell of a lot more money then me. My wife and I really didn't like it, we really dislike trailer queens. Just my 2 cents............

RTJ,

Buy the Hossier prostreet tires. You will not be happy with the SR Radials. At least I am not happy with them. They are a great cruisin tire but for any performance issues all they do is spin. No traction at all.

My buddy has the Hossier tires behind a BB 540 w/ 8/71 blower and he likes them. Motor made 1100 hp on the dyno. So if he says they are good, then they are good.

Thanks, I won't be making 1100hp, so I should be okay.

They are pretty expensive, that tip will save me some cash!
