My name is Bryan, I have had a 68 RS Camaro for 15 years. It spent
10 years in outdoor storage in Oregon before I was able to transport it to Iowa where it sat for several more years. I have always wanted to get started on this project but have been pretty intimidated by the amount of work that I know is going to be involved with restoring this fine car.
This year I have finally made the commitment to start on the Camaro.
I will build it back to like new condition but not all original and it will be a driver. When it is done my goal is for me and my wife to drive it from the midwest out to the West coast. I feel fortunate that I am able to own what I have always considered my dream car (although it does not look all that great right now).
I have always found these sites and forums to be an excellent source of information. Hopefully someday I will be able to contribute some of my own.

Bryan, welcome & good luck getting going on that project. Where are you in Iowa, I'm a couple hours north of the border (Wisconsin). If you ever need some help, let me know, I'm not an expert but I can stand on a crowbar as good as anyone!

Thanks for the welcome and help offers. Most of the hard work I did this summer, tearing the car apart in preparation for being media blasted. I just have to finish building a dolly for the car to sit on. I am hoping to have it blasted and primed before winter sets in to hard. We'll see how that goes...
