I was reading in one of my old Camaro club magazines the other day an article about body broadcast sheets in mid to late '70's Camaros. It was mentioned that if the car had one it most likely was in or under the rear passenger seat cushion. Is there an easy way I can lift up or detach the rear passenger seat at the floor to see if their is one under the cushion without damaging the seat or not be able to attach it back down again? Thanks for any info.

Removing the rear seat cushions are relatively simple. Push on the front applying pressure downwards and toward the rear of the car. You will feel the seat's frame release from the floor bracket and then lift. I believe I found my build sheet stuffed between the seats spring and burlap in that location. I can't remember if it's still there or it was lost when reupholstered.

My build sheet was between the spring and burlap on my drivers seat. If the seventh letter in your vin is a L your car was made in Van Nuys, and alot of those cars have the build sheet on top of the gas tank. Let us know if you find it. Good luck.

Mine was in between the springs and the burlap under the drivers seat. It was all folded up! I also found the original owners manual,, warranty booklet with Protecto plate. Good luck! Here is what mine looked like when I found it.

Thanks for the photos. I haven't found a build sheet on mine yet. It is a Van Nuys car, but I'm guessing not every car down the assembly line actually got one hidden somewhere in or on the car.
