Yeah I agree on the home repair, I just dont see how anyone could feel safe with that going down the road especialy with the power that was being put through it. The car had a 400 sbc bored .030 over with .50 dome top pistons some very nice brodix aluminum heads and a weiand duel high rise tunnel ram intake and two 750cfm domanator carbs with that being said I would not trust that homemade yoke someone was very confident in their work!

Looks like someone didn't like the out of phase driveshaft yokes... so whats one to do... cut the yoke in half and put it in phase l:)l:)l:)l:)

You think that's bad, I had an old Ford Ranger a few years ago. The driveshaft fell out in a parking lot on day. When I looked at it, it had been BRAZED! It was the front yoke too. What a stupid thing to do to save a few bucks.

Yeah crazy thing about it I bought this car from a guy that went to jail 15 years ago and prior to that it was his pride and joy when he got out he "wanted to get his life together" so he sold it. the car sat untouched for 15 years in a garage so this has to be something he did when he was driving it, which is very scary.
