Option U29 Courtesy, Insturment Panel and ZJ9 Auxiliary Lighting Group. What do these include and what did it control? Do any of them indicate any other options like gauges or not? Thank You.:waving:

What car is this for? U29 looks like a '67 only courtesy lights (Sport Coupe only). ZJ9 started in '68 and includs lights like under hood, trunk, ashtray, glove box etc. Cost and what you got with it changed depending on interior choice or coupe and convertible.

ZJ9 was the lighting group that included ashtray, courtesy lights, glove box light, luggage compartment light and underhood light.

I have not found U29 , suspect its a gauge/ tachometer package. Sure that's not U79?
I see someone found U29 as a lighting group elsewhere in this area.

Don - look at the white book for '67, it looks like U25, U26, U27, U28 and U29 were combined into one in '68 and called ZJ9...

You'll need someone better versed in build sheets than I am. Your numbers match the options descriptions except U29 as the white book shows them but for '67 only. For '68 or '69 the descriptions are all listed under ZJ9 and sold together. Seems a little odd to call them out by individual RPO when you couldn't get them individually.

I'd guess he's looking at Canadian docs, which show both the individual RPO's and the group RPO (go figure).

So the restro manual I got from MSX International in Auburn Hills is Canadian?

Don,
I don't think the manual that you got qualifies as a 'option sheet' for a car, which is what Zgoat says he has. :)

Yes, different sources list the individual rpos and the gouped one. But the individuals were not orderable in 68/69, only the ZJ9 group option.
