I have a 10 bolt none posi-track rear end on my 67 Camaro. (I can not remember what it is called). It is original, at least the numbers match. What color paint is correct?
Is the assembly and cover the same color? Is there anything that is to be painted different on it?
I think the bolts are not painted. And from what I have read on line here they are not phospherous, but am not sure?? Mine have markings on them: R S C
Is that the correct bolt?
The bolt that holds the brake line bracket on is different on my car, but I am guessing that someone has lost the original and replaced it with what they had laying around.
I will also paint mono leaf springs, bushings, etc. Anyone have any other suggestions to make restoring it all go faster? I will blast the whole thing.
Thanks in advance!!

http://i274.photobucket.com/albums/jj265/Dale8346/CamaroARTtiny.jpgMy son drew the car. I love how simple it is.

I had to drive for 45 minutes, but I went to a friend of mine that also has a 67 Camaro, same rear end. I removed one bolt off his car and brought it over to my place and soaked it in CLR (kitchen cleaner). I did that because his bolts were so rusted that I could not make any of them out. After soaking his bolt, it was the same as mine. It has R S C on the bolt, and was also brass colored after it was clean.

Now I don't remember any bolt on the rear end of the first gen Camaro's being brass. This is a February car. His is a January car. Now I am confused on the color of the bolts. Were they painted???

I am starting to get a complex since no one has responded?!!!!! I have read a few threads on here, but no one has said THIS is the color to get????

OK, let's try a different approach.
Any of you 67 LOW MILEAGE Camaro guys, what color are your bolts. Painted black, Black Metal, or natural metal?
