Yes it fits. I have two of them from 93 LT1's and they bolt right up to your block.

I'm using the kit from a board member Tyler (Teetoe Jones) which makes it a complete bolt-in with a custom crossmember, clutch master bracket, master and slave cylinder, lines, and complete instructions. Hooks up the stock T56 F body hydraulic clutch to the factory Camaro pedal. You can contact Tyler at teetoe_jones@hotmail.com

I read in an old Camaro Performers mag., that you can start out with a TH400 crossmember and modify slightly to work with the T56. They also said its easier if you had a 4th gen donor car, to get the clutch master cylinder, flywheel, clutch and all other stuff. One interesting point was the fact that they said the T56 is too long for the shifter to exit through the factory (1st gen) hole in the floor. You can either enlarge the hole, thus moving the shifter back (no console), or theres a company makes a shortened tail housing for this kind of application. I can't find the mag. maybe someone else knows what I'm talking about. Anyway if this sounds like too much work, Richmond makes a 6spd. thats about the size of a T10. It doesn't have two overdrives like the T56, but it does have a lower first gear with one overdrive, so you can run a higher rear gear. Hope any of that helps.

To comment on what Toad said above, leave the 4th gen flywheel alone!!

The 4th gen flywheels are designed for LT1 or LS1 motors and will not bolt up to a pre '86 small block. You need the 153 tooth flywheel from a 3rd gen. small block if you have a pre '86 block. These are commonly found on the 82-85 305 cars w/the T5 transmissions and two piece rear seals. You can not use a flywheel designed for a one piece rear seal on a pre '86 small block.

Just wanted you to be aware of this before you went out and bought pieces that would not work for your set-up
