I was installing a set of new Dynomax Headders on my sb 80 camaro and I had to remove the braces fron the crossmember to the lower controll arm mounts. Has anyone experienced less rigidity due to this modification? If so how was it resolved? and what plugs do you guys use so the boots dont melt?

hey milan i had the same problem with a 79 i left them off and have had no problems as for plugs i use r44ts with one accel header plug #276 in cylinder no 6 because a regular plug just puts the boot on the header 276s plug is a shorty plug for headers i have the ceramic coated dynomax headers with dart heads hope this helps you
