I recently purchased an 02 Camaro SS 35th Anniversary Edition. It has 62k on the odometer. I'm having a tough time finding a company that makes a supercharger for it. It has the 5.7L LS1 V8 under the hood and it's a 6 speed manual. Also, does anyone happen to know the stock horsepower of my new ride? I plan to set it up for drifting. I can't stand drag. Something about going in a straight line just doesn't appeal to me. Links and advice of any sort are welcome. :D

Procharger makes an awesome supercharger for LS1 f-bodies. I would get the D1SC kit. This is what I want to do to my car eventually along with a 3600 yank converter and a fab 9 or a dana 60.

If your car is bone stock, it will probably dyno 305-320 rwhp and about 330 rwtq. IF your planning on drifting or autocrossing, you need to talk Sam Strano. He can set you up with a great suspension. http://www.stranoparts.com/
Probably all of your other ls1 related questions can be answered at http://www.ls1tech.com There is a lot of great info on that website.
this was posted on ls1tech about 2 months ago. it is a very experienced drifter taking a bolt on ls1 f-body through its paces. YouTube - Dado drifting Damian's Camaro

Ouch! x_x 6k? That's a little more then I can afford. I just bought the car so any mods I make are going to have to be stage 1. Know of any good chargers that are cheaper? o.O

No, save your money for the procharger. The other route is turbo, and its more expensive.

I think it depends on what kind of power level you want. If you only want to get to 500 horses at the wheels, I'd consider an Eaton roots charger for the simplicity and cost. Much more than that will probably eat up that T56 pretty quickly.
