HI a question on the hoosier quick time pro tyres i did break in burnout in my garage for around 5 seconds in top gear ,jacked car up left over nite ,two days later these things are still sticky as
The bit that worries me is when i put them on car in pit area and go to drive to stageing lane i will pick up all small stones rocks debry and any thing eles lying on the ground and get lodged in to tyre
IS this normal for these tyres to stay super sticky when stone cold ,i thought they only be sticky when hot ?
thanks

I can't speak for the Quick Time tires as I use the drag tires (slicks) but I can tell you that my slicks will pick all kinds of debris, sticks, cigarette butts, stones, ect. as you drive to the staging but that's why you do a burnout before a run......to clean the tires of all that junk and warm them up a bit. It's all perfectly normal. If you do a lot of street driving with the tires they will not last too long due to the softness of the compound. Good Luck!

Normal for the tire/slick. This is why you bought the tire, its traction ability.

As suggested, when driving up to the staging lanes, you can clean them off toremove the debris they have picked up.

Just be careful for those people/cars/trucks behind you, I've had to have two windshields replaced due to flying stones.

ET Streets seem to do very well on the street as far as wear.

It is my experience that ET Streets and the MT drag radials do not pick up stones, trash, and etc. as bad as true slicks do. JMHO.
