i saw a thread about tire and wheel sizes elsewhere on team camaro. however, they were 99% 1st generation cars. i'm wondering how big of a tire and wheel can you fit on a 79 Z-28. any sizes of tires and wheels with back spacing and pics would be greatly appreciated. the car has stock suspension. thanks.

I had 15"x10" with n50s on my 77 and only had to put air shocks on. I had to keep them maxed out with air and it was a ruff ride but looked nice.

All four of my tires are 235/60 on my 79, with stock rims. I have it slightly lowered. I think if you remove the lump from the seat belts in the back wheel well you can fit a larger tire.

I run 225/60/15 on front and 255/6015 in the rear. I still get a little rub in the front but my spring are old.
