I'm going to be drilling my gm performance valve covers this weekend for my breathers. I bought a billet specialties breather w/o pcv for one side and another with pcv valve for the other. Is there any particular place to put these. Does the pcv need to be on a certain side? Do you offset the breathers with one towards the rear of the valve cover and the other side with towards the front of the valve cover. Or can I put them both towards the rear? I thought I read or heard that this matters do to engine torque.

Most folks will tell you to put the PCV on the driver's side and breather on the passenger side. GM did it this way. It is also related to the rotational direction of the engine and that it throws oil away from (vice on to) the PCV on the driver's side.
I put the PCV on the driver's rear side and breather on passenger front in order to get them as far away from each other as possible and get the best crossflow of air possible.
