I need some help on mounting my alternator. Does someone have a picture or part numbers to brackets that I can use? I’ve got a Milodon 16210 Long pump and a Victor Jr. intake manifold. The original tension bracket from my 327 is not going to work. The hole on the water pump for this bracket is located ¾” too close to the engine. The intake manifold sits too high as well. I was trying to keep it looking somewhat original. Any help would be great. The car is a 69. Thanks,

Mounting : The upper bracket mounts to the front of the intake and the mounting ear on the water pump.

Application : For 1976 thru 1986 305 - 350 - 383 - 400 or any small block Chevy running a long water pump and 1976-1986 style intake manifold or aftermarket with factory mounting holes and accessories hole heads.

The '69 long water pump bracket mounts to the water neck and not the front of the intake.

You could order a stock bracket from the many parts houses for a 76-86.

What I had to do running the Airgap on long wtr pump.

I just went to the wrecking yard and bought one that looked like it would work, Not a Vic Jr, though.

Thanks for the replies guys. Looks like the 76 to 86 would work but the Vic it taller than normal. I think the jegs part is what I'm looking for.

I'm having the same problem with my power stearing bracket and the AC as well.

Hey DB. I just took a Victor Jr. off my car and will be installing an original aluminum intake. For the Vic Jr. I had taken an original alternator bracket and sawed off the mounting tab that attaches it to the thermostat housing. It held fine and gave it an original look. I have another bracket I am going to use with this intake and if you are interested I can sell the modified bracket to you. Attached is a photo of the engine bay that included this bracket.
