I am curious if anyone has tired the TRZ rack and pinion conversion http://www.trzmotorsports.com/316.html for first Gen cars? Thier set up converts the steering to front steer and mounts the rack in front of the crossmember so header and oil pan clearance should be great. I have seen the set up on a drag radial car and the onwer said it worked great on his car and had zero bumpsteer on a car that left with the front wheels 3 feet in the air on nearly every run, but I would also like to hear how it performs on the street. No one tried it? I called and talked to them today and they were very nice and knowledgeable. I think I may give it a try.
