Is this going to be enough? It's around 1/4", maybe 5/16".

I had the same issue on my 68. I made 1/4" spacer plates that go under the sway bar frame mounts. This gave it enough to clear with room to spare.

What's your worry? 1/4 inch is generous compared to some I've seen.

I just wondered that if the sway bar 'rolled' as it moves, it might 'roll' up enough to make contact. If that's enough clearance, I'll press on!

it might never hit, but just to be safe, maybe put 1/4" spacers under the sway bar mounts and call it good.
