Just posting some shots of my 69 Z X77 Burnished Brown car as it's back from the body shop. I still have a long way too go.

wow looks good, how much did you pay for the paint job? I'm in the process of getting quotes.

Very nice! Was that the original color? It nice to see someone paint a Camaro something other than red, black or blue.

Looks awesome! Burnished brown is one of my all time favorite colors. I love the original less popular colors like Burnished Brown, Olympic Gold, Corvette Bronze, Btitish Racing Green.

Nice color Mike, I havn't decided which wheels to use yet.
My car just got back from the paint jail, but as agreed, I disasembled the car and finished my subframe and rear axle, then car and front end parts go to the paint jail for primer, blocking, final primer and cutting in parts befor assembly. Now I'm ready for final assy, then paint. $6000. It was hard to except at first but now I think I got a deal after reading about how much some has paid.

I'm glad there are still folks that will paint a car a less popular color...

Thanks everyone for the positive input. Yes it's a 61 paint code car with a 2D build date. I have a DZ engine for it and the original M21 muncie. It was a very solid car originally from Mansfield OH area. Maybe bought at Earl Davis Chevrolet. This is a hard color to photograph. The pictures do not do the color and justice.

Thanks
Mike

Nothing wrong with red! Just tired of people forgetting about great colors like Olympic Gold, Royal Plum, Sierra Fawn, Frost Green, Tripoli Turquoise, the list goes on and on. I personally think there is nothing better than a Camaro in it's original color.

Times two and I don't think they were all Hugger Orange.

Wow looks great! My car is original burnished brown. After seeing yours when mine needs a new paint job it's going back to the original burnished brown. Have fun finishing the Z up.
