I never liked how my Goodmark fender extensions fit on the Goodmark fenders on my 68. They did not have a smooth flow as they turned from the side to the front at the valance. I was wondering if I could get a set of used originals and use with the Goodmark fenders? I was told yesterday that aftermarket needs aftermarket extensions and GM fenders need GM extensions. ANy truth to this? I have the used GM extensions but haven't taken the others off since the car is painted. If they won't work then I will run a bumper I guess but I would prefer not to "have to"

I bought a set of GM extensions to go with my Goodmark fenders and front valance. They fit 100% better than the ones that came with the fenders.

That was what I was hoping to hear. I was going to go ahead and blast and primer these, spray the backs body color and since I needed to reclear the car and fix a few chips I would spray these after getting them on, but didn't want to take it all apart to find out they don't fit any better. So I shouldn't have any problems is what it sounds like
