95 Camaro Z28 5.7 Not firing. Replaced coil, ignitian module, distributer, computer. Still will not fire. This is my wife's car and I go into the hospital for bypass surgery in less than three weeks. I have been a mechanic for 34 years and this one has me stumped. We can't afford to take it to Cheverolet. Did get it hooked up to a diagnostics computer and got "code 16" with ECM computer. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

code 16 means the pcm is not detecting the low signal pulse from the crankshaft but is detecting the high signal pulse. You need to check continuity from the crankshaft position sensor and pcm and/or possibly back probe the crankshaft position sensor for a signal on the low signal pulse. So I would say your looking at possibly reluctor ring, crank sensor or the wiring from the crank sensor to the pcm. If I were a betting man I would say crank sensor, but if you have the equipment to check first i would.
