Any particular reason political ads on propositions (some extremely volatile) showing up on the web site as banners? I thought this was a politics free zone so as to respect EVERYONE.

I'm sure it's got or will get Al's attention, the google ads are intended to only target related material but it seems the political funds may have gotten the best of them. I maintain a friends business web site and it uses google ads and in turn they help his site get business. I sure hope they stop before google places material there that goes against his convictions...

Yeah, it is a Google ad. I guess the proposition supporters/non-supporters have purchased ads......man, you just can't escape it!!!! I for one will be glad when I wake up Wed. morning and it is all over.

I'll try and get these blocked. Not what google was supposed to do. The links are to be keywords that are directly related to the topic.

Well, the ad I questioned is for a Proposition in the state of California so evidently, Google can regionalize the ads. But the ad is gone today, replaced by an ad for GM parts.

Good luck to all, go out and vote, it matters.
