Does any TC members know the lower reverse backdrive rod stamped number for a 1970 Z28 4 speed, or the length?
Thanks in Advance.

Do you mean the "Reverse Shifter Rod" and number stamped into it? If that's what you mean I could crawl under mine and have a look - LOL

Ron, Thanks for the reply. Actually I was looking for the lower rod that goes from the rev trans tag to the backdrive bellcrank assembly on the side of the subframe. If you would not mind looking for the stamped number or even a total length measurement , it would be very appreciated.
I am working on a friends 70 Z28 and the lower backdrive rod he has seems too short, unless he has the wrong rev tag on the trans. Is your reverse tag the wider one with the hole forward for the lower backdrive rod?
Many Thanks. Mike.

Whoa! I call that the Reverse Lock Out Linkage. I had to take that out of my car to install Headers and I bolted up the lever on the Steering Column to prevent the Column from accidentally locking; fortunately I still have it. Give me a day or two to located it.
