Just an FYI cause I have seen a lot of stuff about Rick's lately so I thought I would post.

I made a BIG order while their sale was going on but the website issues that they were(are) having prevented it from going through to the end. I called them a week and a half later, wondering where my stuff was and they said they got no notice of the order. Luckily I take screenshots of all orders when I make them so I sent them the screen shot and they placed the order - at the sale prices - and made everything good.

Ricks recently (Saturday) sent me my back order parts for weekend delivery. I feel this is going above and beyond. I was very impressed.

Hit the Print Screen key and then select <paste> inside powerpoint or word to paste it and save it for later...

I once had a similar order done during a sale, but my work place prevented me for completing the order.
Later emailed Ricks, and they had no issues with giving me the order at the discount price.

I recently ordered over $600 worth of parts from Ricks, but first I called and requested a shipping estimate since some items were oversized. They assured me I would be contacted before the order was billed and shipped.

Nope, never contacted me and charged me over $120 for shipping. I would have cancelled the order if knew they were gonna stick that to me. Lost business forever. Been happiest with NPD!

I had bought a original master cyl. for old Rick's before they sold out to Eckler's. It real close to a year before I got to the point that I actually installed it. Had some issues with it and thought for sure they were going to give me a hard time. When I called them they told me so send it back to them with a copy of my bill and they would either repair it or send me my $$$ back. About 2 weeks later I got check in the mail from Eckler's for the full amount of the master. I thought that was pretty fair of them.

NPD, or commonly called, National Parts Depot is the only place I shop at!....Their prices are always so much lower than ricks or any of the other vendors!.....And the best thing is there is a NPD not too far from my residence so I save a ton on shipping costs!....I usually take my coupe and those guys always know when I'm coming, they can hear my car a mile away and always request a mean burn out upon departure!:yes::thumbsup:

Man, after giving good press and everything I got my parts, including a complete weatherstrip kit for a '67. Turns out though that their '67 only weatherstrip kist does NOT include vent window weatherstripping!!!

Heartbeat was happy to sell it to me.

Is there any consistency out there?
