I am sure that the normal windows XP can be made to go to sleep after not being used for say 30 minutes and then require the password we have set to be entered just like when first turning the computer on. At work out computers do this, which they are XP professional software, but I was wondering if anybody could tell me how to make my home computer do this.

On your "desktop" RIGHT click your mouse
Select Properties
Click on the SCREEN SAVER tab at the top
Click on the Power Button at the bottom
You'll be able to adjust all your power settings there.
You're looking for this screen...

and under the advanced tab is where to set the password on or off...
