Does any one know if you can put a LS in and still retain the big brake booster?

It'll depend on which frame stand, mounts, and plates you run... but even if it does hit, you can probably modify the coil mounting to get clearance. Here's where mine hit:

('99 LS1, ATS-style plates, '68 327 frame stands, flipped short/wide ES mounts)
