Hi all,
I registered way back when I first purchased my Camaro.
I have a 69 plain jane camaro. LA car, originally Daytona Yellow. I beleive the car spent most of its life in New Mexico. At least that is what I was told when I purchased it from a car lot here in Columbus Ohio.
When I bought it was white w/ blue strips. It didnt look bad but the paint was very faded.
I had it painted Patriot Blue(a crysler color). Not exactly the color I wanted, but the painter got the color wrong when he was painting it. Really though it looked really good in the paint booth right after getting painted. So I went with it. Mostly just to get my car back. It was one of those "few week" jobs that turned into a few months.
We for the amount I paid the paint didn't look bad. But it didn't take long before it started coming off in small chucks here an there. I have milked it along for a few years. As of last night I am starting the project to get it redone.
Here is a pic of it.

The motor is not original. It is a 400 small block. It is basically a stock bottom end w/ 64 cc corvette heads and an after market intake and small tube headers.
The transmission is a TH350 w/ a shift kit.
The rearend is a ford 9" with 355 gears and a powertrax locker.
I will get pics of last nights work up on here tonight. I have the front taken apart up to getting the fenders off.
Anyways I know this is getting long winded but so I will stop it now and add knew posts as I get pics up.
I am sure I will have a bunch of questions. I am just glad I have a resource like this to fall back on.
