I think that's what the part was called anyway. My car's been missing/backfiring for over a week now. I had the engine light checked a couple weeks ago and got codes for the Mass Airflow Sensor and o2 sensor. I installed a new airflow sensor a few days ago and it helped, but not alot, it's still missing like crazy when I get on the gas. Anyway, the engine light came back on yesterday, and I just now had it checked. The only code that came up was for the Evap Purge Solenoid. The guy said it was in the gas tank. I'm not the brightest guy when it comes to parts and vehicles, I just learn as they start malfunctioning on my own car, so I've never heard of this. Could this in fact be what's making my car run so horribly?
