What are you looking to get for it? wiskeesour Nov 12th, 08, 02:39 AM You have lost your mind. DOUG G Nov 12th, 08, 03:40 AM Dealer will give you squat  ermine67 Nov 12th, 08, 05:38 AM You are always better off selling a car yourself, use ebay if you have to. Then take the cash to the dealer for downpayment. The stealer will always try to give you nothing. 1969 Camaro Dude Nov 12th, 08, 06:48 AM I own a 1969 RS/Z-28 Camaro and have ordered a 2010 RS/SS2 Camaro. No way would I trade my 69 for it. The 69 will keep it's value much better than the 2010 Camaro. The 2010 should be alot of fun tho. keypilot Nov 12th, 08, 08:27 AM lawrence, you are the first one i heard of ordering one. can you give some details, what package options did you get, color and price. jamie, i will double what they offer you on the trade in, without even seeing it! seriously though, PM me with pics and a price maybe we can do something. captcanuck68 Nov 12th, 08, 09:51 PM The '69 will appreciate with time... the 5th will deppreciate. Why would you do this to yourself? Curious? capt crustyz11 Nov 13th, 08, 04:04 PM Well, i'm getting very tired of not having the $$$ to build my car and the way things are looking i won't for a loooong while. I'm afraid that by the time i do, there won't be much left to build. I love my car but it needs WAY more attention than i can give it right now. A fifth gen has more room for the son, i wouldn't have to carry a (large) toolbox everywhere, gets about twice the gas mileage, is easily faster, and is a hell of a lot safer. I don't know, maybe i'm just in a funk because of all the white crap that keeps falling from the sky! The Sleeper 327 Nov 13th, 08, 04:08 PM Where in WI are you located? May be interested if your considering selling it. 1969nova Jan 6th, 09, 07:23 PM wheither that is a small block or a big block/auto or 4 speed, the pace car will be worth 60,000 to 100,000+ when restored.and in my opinion it looks a heck of alot better than the 5th gen.one day the 5th gens will be worth something but,as of now theyll just be a depreciating new car.please keep the pace car.just my cents. SPARKY69 Jan 7th, 09, 05:37 AM They wont give you squat...sell it outright.. captcanuck68 Jan 7th, 09, 10:02 PM You mean a deal from a GM/Chrylser dealer? Who knows? If you wait long enough, you might be able make an even trade...just being a little facetious here. Seriously..fix up the Pacer...wait till better times, and if still true to your inclination...sell it and go in with cash. They might be needing some postive cash flow at that time, eh? capt 1969 Camaro Dude Jan 15th, 09, 12:04 PM lawrence, you are the first one i heard of ordering one. can you give some details, what package options did you get, color and price. jamie, i will double what they offer you on the trade in, without even seeing it! seriously though, PM me with pics and a price maybe we can do something. Sorry I have been on the 5 gen Camaro site for the last couple months and didn't see your question. I ordered a SS2/RS Victory Red with Black stripes and black interior (To match my 69 RS/Z-28 paint and interrior sceem) 6 speed man, short shifter and floor mats. I'm paying MSRP around $38,000. Oh and I ordered day 1 13 Oct 2008. 3SuperSports Jan 15th, 09, 04:17 PM You have lost your mind? What he said. Daytona Yellow 69 Z/28 Jan 15th, 09, 05:56 PM You have lost your mind. What he said. Yes, what they said. rsbecool Jan 15th, 09, 06:04 PM The dealer would not give you as much as you could get selling it your self. Better think hard on this one. gm torch red Jan 15th, 09, 07:10 PM You better keep it!! The new Camaro may never make it into regular production if things don't improve!!! |
