I am going to sell my '68 Camaro SS. I've had it for about 10 years and have dumped a ton of money into it - way too much money, lol. It has a 461 fuel-injected (Accel DFI) BB, with 4-spd and 3:73 posi.

Anyway, I would appreciate a few opinions of value. Keep in mind, I am not just contemplating selling, nor am I fishing for some sucker with a fat wallet. I am GOING TO SELL IT. I want to price the car realistically, so that it will sell quickly. I know I'm gonna take a fiscal beating, but that's OK. After 40 years of driving noisy old muscle cars, I have had enough, and there are other personal issues which I won't get into.

I am making a small web site with pics and details, located here: http://csgbenefits.org/camaro/

I would be very grateful for any selling pointers and caveats. Also, please be brutally honest when suggesting any pricing.

Here's a quick pic -

This car is gone..............

Listed it for $19,500, then sold it (quickly) for $16,500.

If the body had been rotisseried and completely detailed, I think it would have been worth a whole lot more. But I tried to value it realistically, based on what it was.

I think the buyer got a good deal and I'm happy to move on to something else. Capitalism at its finest. :)
