I was in a GM tooling facility and I witnessed a group of robots assembled in a tooling unit. It was assembling camaro convertible rear quater panels. The paper work I saw stated the tooling was ready to ship. I don't know when the convertible is scheduled for production but they must be getting close. Now if GM dosen't cancel the camaro with their money troubles...

According to GM FAQ's on their Camaro website, they won't be taking orders for the convertible until 2010, with delivery in 2011.
