Hey guys, first off, I hope this is in the right forum.

I took the front clip off my 69 this weekend. I knew I had GM original stickers on the fenders, but I am not certain if these are repro's or the real thing. I don't know where to get GM part numbers from and that's why I am here asking. The fenders have NO rust in them, but they could use some massaging to make perfect. I know the upper valance has a sticker as well as the lower valance and a factory cowl hood. Didn't even think to look at the extensions.

I took some pictures of what I could.

THIS ONE (http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa282/Kokamo44/69%20Rising%20from%20the%20ashes/IMG_1686.jpg) is the left fender sticker. Easy to read..... 3953655 or 3953855

THIS ONE (http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa282/Kokamo44/69%20Rising%20from%20the%20ashes/IMG_1684.jpg) is the right side..... i'm guessing 3953656??

THIS ONE (http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa282/Kokamo44/69%20Rising%20from%20the%20ashes/IMG_1687.jpg) is the cowl hood. 3949708

I didn't have acess to the upper and lower valance tho. There is no rust on any of these parts. It kinda weird that all of these parts are nearly spotless when the rest of the car is pretty rusty.

Also have THIS (http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa282/Kokamo44/69%20Rising%20from%20the%20ashes/IMG_1688.jpg), THIS (http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa282/Kokamo44/69%20Rising%20from%20the%20ashes/IMG_1689.jpg), and THIS (http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa282/Kokamo44/69%20Rising%20from%20the%20ashes/IMG_1690.jpg) pic just for fun.

Thanks for any help.

Joe

Joe, those are replacements, not original. Is that what you're asking?

Well, I really didn't know exactly what my question was to begin with either. lol

If they are replacement parts, are they made from original GM stamping or are they the same as a Goodmark reproduction?

I know this question isn't for this section of the forum, but what are they worth? Being used and rust free.

Also, are these being reproduced by GM anymore?

Sorry for all the questions. I just thought it was cool to see some real GM rust free parts come off this rust bucket.

Thanks guys,

Joe

I don't think they are not worth what they would be, if unused, but still valuable. I'd guess $2000-$2,500 for the 5 parts you mentioned. I'd say NOS would be worth an extra $700-800. You didn't mention if the parts have been primed or painted, but if they are still the original e-coat, they would be worth closer to NOS.

Hey guys, I appreciate the replies. I'm just glad I don't have reproduction parts.

Since I can't edit my original post, I'd like to let everyone know that these parts ARE NOT FOR SALE. I have received about 20 e-mails and PM's asking for me to sell these GM part numbers.

Thanks for the offers guys, but I have big plans for these parts.

Again, I appreciate the replies and offers,

Joe
