I am looking into painting the center part and the inner 3/4 inch of the disc where the brake pad does not wear. What is a good paint to use that will not flake off or burn off, thanks

I used VHT spray can engine paint. It's holding up well.

Usually the Cast Iron 1200 degree paint holds up well and looks good too.

I bought the cast iron paint for my exhaust manifolds from Eastons, With the left overs I painted up the (new) rotors for the 97 Gran Prix. Ran the car from Ontario to Dallas and back the paint has held up very nice, We've had a few flurries and looked at the rotors today, no rust coming through. Any previous paint I used on the front rotors burned off in no time this is still holding on nice.

I use Hammerlite indusrial paint on my drums and front calipers, sticks to anything and doesnt discolour or anything.
