Hi all!

Im looking for some advice from those of you who know these transmissions better than me. Im looking to possibly buy this T56 trans from a LS1 car. Trans only-- it has over a 100k miles on it. It is still in the car and works great, but not sure of its value??

I wouldn't pay a whole lot for it. While T-56's are really cool most used ones need to be rebuilt because they have been beat on pretty good. You can spend 1500+ real easy on a rebuild of one of those. To get an idea on price I would go to Car-parts.com and do an internet search of the junk yards and see what they are asking and then see what aftermarket dealers are asking for new/rebuilt ones. You might be better off just getting a new one...or one with extremely low miles.
