I have a 69 camaro muncie. Its around a march build date and was from a norwood car. Has the 69 camaro vin. Its a m20. The case is perfect as well as tailshaft and sidcover and they all seem to be the right numbers. A good friend bought it and had it rebuilt and installed in his 69 chevelle. He ran it for about 1500 miles and his wife couldnt drive the car so he went automatic. We did some trading and I ended up with it. What is this thing worth? Should I do like Chik did with the 69 Z motor and try to get to the original car?

MY X33 has an early March differential. Could be my tranny. Will you post the VIN stamp?

Muncies are a dime a dozen (well almost).:)
But the original one for a car is priceless. Try to reunite it with it's car.

Yeah Gary, I will post it. Its at my shop and I wont be there until tomorrow night and I just cant remember the exact date and vin number. I was going to use this in my 67 vert but I just bought a 2000 trans am 6-speed tonight and decided to turn loose of the mincie. I would actually like to see it in the original car if at all possible.

Thanks Lee, It is rebuilt and very few miles on the rebuild (aprox 1500) And is in excellent condition. I was going to run it as is behind my 406 small block with 500hp/500fttq:yes: and not think twice about it. Would make anyone a super nice trans. Would make the owner of the car it belongs to even nicer:thumbsup:

OK, so here is the date P9C26A and the vin. is 19N635652 I did talk to my friend I got it from and he said the guy he bought it from said it came out of a Z, could be true I guess but now days everything came out of a Z. He can't remember the guys name or anything he bought it from. He did by it here in Indiana, but with ebay and the internet that doesn't mean much. Lets try to find the car this belongs to, any help would be apreciated! Can some one provide a link to this on crg and anywhere else that might help? Thanks!
