I just replaced the 2 1/4" in/out flowtech terminators on my truck yesterday with a set of hooker aero chambers of the same size. Man, do these things sound good! I liked the terminators but just got tired of them after all these years and was looking for a different sound, and something a little quieter. I got everything I was looking for. They are very deep yet mellow sounding, while the terminators wasn't as deep but had more of a "bark" when you touched the gas peddle. I give these mufflers 2 thumbs up :D

Glad you like them. I've had them on my '68 since 1999 and have been very pleased. I got the whole Hooker package: Competition headers with the metallic coating, Aero Chambers, and the Dr Gas X-pipe.

I didn't have anything to write home about on the car before, so I couldn't make a good before-and-after comparison like you did. But the mean, throaty exhaust notes after it was installed put a big smile on my face. 4 years later, it still impresses me and turns heads when I pull in someplace.
