Hmmm, not bad. And no PTB's or chalk X's all over the place. Looks well done. Three mufflers?
Has the seller perhaps learned from his mistakes? What was the problem at BJ?

Yep ! Must be real quiet with the "double" exhaust system !!??

Thats the way they all were late in the year. Resonators got added to the exhaust sometime in the May-June timeframe, I think.

If you want a better picture, just ask. I didn't want to ruin such nice workmanship.

To set the record straight, I never rebodied any cars. I wasn't at BJ and don't know the seller, rebuilder, or buyer.

That's a sharp car. You don't see too many gold colored Z/28's.

That is conventional thinking but resonators were used on Camaro dual exhaust systems since 1967 production. At the start of '69 production chambered was standard on Z/28s and some BBs. When the complaints started around November of '68 Chevy dropped it as standard equipment but retained it as an option. From that point forward Z/28s not ordered with chambered received standard dual exhaust; initially w/o resonators, later with as parts became available. The dates on the recall notice are vague but vintage chassis photos of ZL-1 #3 [built 02D] show a single muffler/dual resonator system so the changeover was at that time or even earlier. In May chambered was dropped as an option and chrome tailpipes were added.

note the date of the 1st TSB, right at the end of 68, the followup didn't come out until April:

for the follow-up TSB of the Chambered exhaust, more Camaro Z28 specific:

kind of does look suspicious . says his feedback is only 90% and apparently he sold a car with known damage and never stated it. so i would be careful with this one.....

Before you make an a false statement you should know the facts. It was a newer car with a carfax done on both ends which showed no issues on the car. When the guy got the car he noticed the front bumper had been repainted at one time, and that is what got him mad. My ads all state you should look at the car before the purchase, he didn't. He also begged me to sell him that car with a buy it now. Again know what your talking about before you blog to the world!

The block of that gold Z is a re-stamp despite the auction claims it is a born with engine.
