Me and a friend have got into a disagreement about the ' Delco Moraine' stamping that was on the 69 Camaro disc brake boosters. I say that all 69 boosters were stamped upside down under the check valve. He claims he has owned cars in the past that had the original boosters that were stamped right side up on the opposite side of the booster. What do you guys think?

I vote for the upside down version.

Mine is a late Z, and its right side up. I have read somewhere that either one could be correct. Never got a definitive answer though.

I have seen originals with both, since it's just a matter of how the two halves were put together. That would leave open the possibility that the upside down version could have been rebuilt at one time and was assembled that way. But I have also seen many without any stamp that I know were original. I would guess as many as 30-40% have no stamp at all.
