Hello, my name is Tom and I'm from Central Mass. I've always been into Rods ( my '29 Coupe) and Tri-Fives. Last year I got the bug for a fist gen Camaro. I've always wanted a Penske Camaro (who doesn't?) and I decided to build one. I've recentgly purchased this 67 for $8,000. The car is in really good shape with no rust. Best of all, it has a Tremec five speed in it and a newly built 350. The rear is a 10 bolt with 3.73's. I've decided to build that Trans Am replicar so I'm off! The car will be lowered 2 inches and had the Badlanzhp electric dumps and the prospoilers.com front spoiler. I will post pics as I do more. I have alot more planned.

Welcome, Tom. I can't wait to see some photos of yours. I'm thinking about adding some Trans Am touches to mine also as I go.

:beers:

Tom, my 68 trans am tribute started this past summer when I was looking for a different paint scheme other than red or black, I decided on the penske sunoco blue and yellow, even though my car was original ermine white with red interior. I saw pictures on the web and in books that showed the sunoco camaro had red door panels and the 69 looked like it had a red dash pad. Mine is just being finished up this week at the body shop I did the 67 paint scheme with the z28 stripes in yellow. I like to think of my Camaro like the engineering mule they mention in "Camaro Untold Secrets" its got parts from Nova, Caddilac,Trans-AM. It seems like there is renewed interest in Trans-am did you see the GS concept Camaro featured at SEMA? mine is just a daily driver but it will be fun driving. Good luck with yours .
