Especially if he's not even sure if it's matching #'s!

Crossram JL8 at $67,500.00 pricey?
If this car had docs and the numbers were matching it would be worth twice that. Most likely it is just another plain jane camaro with a lot of toys added to it.
You need to ask for photos of the drivetrain and vin numbers but I doubt he will provide that.

Thats why I said pricey. He says he will refund the money spent on certification??

Not to discredit the car because I absolutely love it but the ad reads as non-matching numbers "period correct" and the dealer is very considerate to offer to pay for a JM evaluation, therefore the priceyness is not too rigid. Being that the block is 0203 on an 03B car would lean me towards not original block either, however I am no expert. As well as the seller is no amature and I believe for the well known dollar increase they would definately make the effort to confirm it and on the other hand be hard pressed to openly advertise non-original block obviously for feared negative financial impact. Not to discredit them or anything of the sort because they definately are not saying it is when it isn't. I would welcome honest pm feedback on what is the greatest difference in dates you have personally seen on a known original.
I need a beatdown because in 1997 after recovering from my 1st divorce and having to sell my 69 and 67 at the time a co-worker, fellow Camaro buddy was going to sell me a Norwood car identical to this one that he had just re-installed the original matching numbers engine back into (but non-original tranny and rear) for 8500 and I turned it down because I didn't have a garage at the time. Having had my share and now owning no 25 and 26 for me that was my lifelong Camaro mistake.
So my point, buy that car man so I can be happy for you. The seller seems to be negotiatable and honest. Chuck.

I must be blind because I don't see anything in this ad stat ing "non-matching numbers "period correct". I do see right in the beginning 1969 CALIFORNIA CHEVROLET CAMARO Z-28 DZ WITH JL8 OPTION!!

If you look at the bottom of the ad where bidders are asking questions one of the bidders asks him to define matching #'s. If it's a true JL8 Camaro then it's not that high but with the amount of Z fraud he needs docs to proove or a matching drivetrain.

I give this dealer credit for offering to pay for a professional certification. The price is high and I am sure he will have to come down quite a bit to sell it.
