Ok guys. Just started putting my front suspension back together. I have the upper offset cross shaft and bushings in and have a problem. The cross shaft is very tight when i spin it in the bushings, and the shaft is spinning in the bushing instead of the delron insert spinning in the aluminum part of the bushing. I obviously have some bind somewhere but cannot figure out where or what to do? The delron part of the bushing is already installed inside the bushing on the shaft so there is no turning back mow.:( What do you guys think?

is the shaft tweaked a little bit, or maybe a bushing is in slightly crooked?

do you have a tubular upper A arm or stock?

I was thinking maybe the arm is off a little and making the shaft bind as well.

Hey David. First off congrats on you and your wife being in Super Chevy!:beers: The control arms are the stock ones. Any clues? Thanks

The bushings had a bit too much of a press fit. Once i removed one of the bushings the delrin sleeve slid right in and out of the bushing shell. The bushing that was still in the arm was still dead stuck! I just need to remove some material from the sleeves and i should be ok.
